New prints of Bristol and Bath’s loved locations

Two new original prints by artist and printmaker Susie Brooks are available now at Sky Blue.

The silkcreen prints capture the two cities’ best loved landmarks on bird-eye-view maps drawn by the artist. Each special place is marked by a coloured heart.

Bristol, A Trip Down Memory Lane and Bath, I Want to Be With You Everywhere are hand-printed by Susie at Spike Print Studio in Bristol. Every print in the edition is unique due to the monoprinted hearts that vary from print to print.

Bristol map

The Bristol map takes you on a trip around the city centre’s iconic landmarks and favourite haunts. Over 80 hearts highlight places that evoke special memories and are sure to resonate with anyone who loves living or visiting our lively, yet laid-back city.

From an original dip pen drawing in Susie’s signature style, each colour is mixed and printed separately by hand. The print measures 750mm x 560mm and is available in a white stained, tulip wood frame

Bath map

Georgian Bath is surely one of the UK’s most romantic cities. It’s been captivating hearts for centuries.

In this small edition, silkscreen print Susie celebrates the city’s romantic status by laying hearts across her hand-drawn city map. She mixes 32 colours and prints them separately to create this wonderful print.

The print measures 560mm x 760mm and is available in a white stained, tulip wood frame.
