Framing military medals is a great way to display them proudly in your home and protect them long term.
This custom box frame pays tribute to a World War 2, military police serviceman.
Our approach
We carefully designed the frame to showcase these precious family heirlooms at their best.
The military medals and photographs are creatively arranged on a black, archival back mount. We used sticky tabs on the reverse side to secure the medals and then pulled the ribbons through small slots to keep them taut.
We chose an off-white top mount and cut four window apertures to showcase the various items and text box.
The frame itself is crafted from a flat, bare wood moulding. This is hand finished in charcoal stain with brown undertones to complement all the items.
The result
Instead of the medals being tucked away and forgotten, this unique frame preserves the family’s history and is ready to be passed down through generations.
