This exquisite Hermès silk scarf, Mystery at 24, measures nearly 90cm x 90cm. We presented it in an oversized box frame, using conservation methods to preserve its beauty and value.
The scarf is carefully stretched and pinned onto conservation-grade foam board, then set against a soft white mount board. The depth of the box frame ensures space between the silk and the glass, safeguarding the delicate fabric and its hand-rolled edges.
For the finishing touch, the frame itself is hand-coloured in a deep blue, echoing the blue tones within the artwork. We used reduced-reflection glass with UV protection to keep the scarf pristine for years to come.
