Challenge
Huw, Max, Ollie and Tom are lifelong friends. They rowed to victory in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge in 2020 in 32 days, 12 hours and 25 minutes.
The rowers commissioned us to design seven commemorative frames to tell the story of their achievement. Three to present to their sponsors and one each to keep themselves. Each frame includes a personalised message signed by the crew.
Approach
We love the challenge of designing bespoke solutions like this with our customers.
The oar blade is the hero piece and influenced the colours chosen by the crew for the box frame and window mounts.
We used a double mount to create a contrasting black line around the individual items. This effectively draws your eye into the oar blade, photo and text panels.
Results
The sleek box frames are ideal for displaying in the homes of the rowers. As well as in the offices of the corporate sponsors. A win-win result.
