Quentin Blake

Sir Quentin Blake is one of Britain’s most well-known and best-loved illustrators. His instantly recognisable drawings have enchanted both children and adults for generations.

He is famously known for illustrating Roald Dahl’s children’s books, including Matilda, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and the Enormous Crocodile.

He has also written and illustrated many of his own works such as Mrs Armitage, Mr Magnolia and his ABC alphabet book.

Sir Quentin Blake was born in London in 1932 and has drawn ever since he can remember.  His books have won numerous awards and he was appointed Britain’s first children’s laureate in1999.

We are pleased to be the Bristol stockist of his Official Collector’s Limited Edition prints published by Aquarelle Publishing, including prints created through his collaboration with Roald Dahl.
